8 & Under players from Virgin Active Devonshire, David Lloyd Exeter and the South Devon Tennis Centre, Ivybridge came together today to play in their first Aegon Team Tennis Competition.
In an extremely close contest, David Lloyd Exeter narrowly edged it over Ivybridge to win the group.
Devon LTA representative, Chris Bawden said, "We saw some great tennis today with long rallies and brilliant shots from these young players. The doubles were especially exciting but the real winner today was the great attitude and sportsmanship all the children displayed."
