The men travelled to Cambridge for their group 5 tournament. Missing some of the excellent players of recent years, it was a weaker team that found itself up against unexpectedly strong oposition this year, however we are building for the future!
This year saw debuts for Josh Brown, Matt Sargent and Oskar Wynne who joined the more experienced Jamie Bartlett, Justin Kraushar, Dave Palmer, Bruce Wheatley and Josh Rees. Jack Findel-Hawkins and Steven Wood were also selected but had to withdraw due to injury.
The team were unable to secure a win but Dan Jones (team secretary) said, "Team-spirit continues to impress and it is always enjoyable adding new players to the fold. There remains a strong desire to represent the county and we hope for a more successful time in division 6."
