Jack Findel-Hawkins from Exmouth has now a national title to add to his recent successes. Playing with Hampshire's Alex Gasson for the first time, this unseeded, scratch partnership simply defeated all comers in the AEGON British National 18 & Under boys doubles. In the semi finals they beat the number 1 seeds Jonathan Cornish and Samuel Hutt in a close fought match (7-6(4) 4-6 1-0(7)) and took on Luke Johnson and Toby Martin in the final, winning comfortably 6-4, 6-1.
Jack is currently the top ranked 16 & under player in the UK and will be competing at the 16 & Under AEGON British Nationals next week in Bournemouth and will be looking to continue his great run of form having won his first national title.
