Our ladies team travelled to Cheltenham and our men to Oxford for the Aegon Summer County Cup. This is a week long, doubles based inter-county competition and the highlight of the tennis year for our senior players.
The men played against Dorset (lost 4-5), Nottinghamshire (won 5-4) , Durham & Cleveland (won 6-3), Warwickshire (lost 4-5) and Gloucestershire (rained off). A win against Warwickshire would have seen the team promoted but third place was a good result.

Our ladies played Cambridgeshire (lost 3-6), Cornwall (won 6-3), Somerset (lost 4-5), Gloucestershire (won 5-4) and Durham & Cleveland (rained off). As with the men, the ladies came third in their division.
