Playing at Exmouth Tennis and Fitness on Saturday 8th August the ladies over 60 team had a close match against Gloucestershire. Though a draw at the end of play, Devon was awarded the win on set count back.
The match against Kent at Canterbury on Friday 14th August was unfortunately a different story and the team lost 3 rubbers to 1.
The team was represented by Sally Bassinder from Calne, Barbara Robillard from Newton Abbot, Marilyn Barlow and Nicki Keele, both from Sidmouth.
Their last match is against Somerset on Saturday 12th September at 12 noon at Exmouth Tennis and Fitness Centre and we wish them good luck!
