It would seem that dedication and passion definitely have priority for some young tennis players as they made their way through the tempestuous weather on Monday 23rd for a very special training session before starting their Christmas holidays.
Seven of Exmouth's East Devon Tennis Academy's 10 and Under Squad trained with some of the best 10 and under players from the West Hants High Performance Tennis Centre, Bournemouth. The session was led by Liam Storey (Performance Coach, Exmouth) assisted by Nikki Trelease (Coach, Exmouth), Aviran Reuvan (Coach, West Hants) and Mark Reid (Director of Tennis, West Hants).
The session comprised of some warm-ups, ball control drills, basket drills and then a team match to finish with Exmouth narrowly beating West Hants in points.
"This is the second time that the two clubs have joined forces to train their talented youngsters and we are really looking forward to visiting West Hants again very soon - especially because they get the chance to play on clay courts", said one of the parents. "A huge well done to all the players and especially the coaches for organising this".
