Played in 'interesting' weather at Newquay over the May Day bank holiday weekend, our girls team delivered a crditable performance against strong teams to come 4th. in their box. they lost to eventual tournament runners up Cambridgeshire but had a close tie with the Channel Islands, winning on a countback. They then faced South Wales in a 3rd/4th play off but couldn't quite pull that one off losing 2-4.

In their tie at Oxford, our boys team found themselves really up against it with very tough opposition and were unable to make headway losing both their box matches against Hertfordshire and Somerset, then finding Wiltshire another step too far. Good experience was gained though and the team supported one another well.
