A big well done to all of the mini tennis players who took part in the Bournemouth Gardens TC vs Victoria Avenue mini tennis matches held on Sunday 16th October. Teams of 4 played round robin singles in each age group.
Victoria Avenue comfortably won the Mini Red and Mini Orange matches. But BGTC won the overall Mini Green match.
Massive credit must go to the Mini Red and Orange teams who battled hard and gave everything. They played some tough players but kept going and should be very proud of themselves.
Mini Red player Emilia Stoodley had this to say: I had lots of fun (whether winning or losing). I played against some really good players and have learned alot.
Owen Griffiths summed up how the Mini Orange team felt: Victoria Avenue were really tough team but we tried hard and played are best.
A delighted Daniel Aspiazu had this to say on the Mini Green success: I really enjoyed playing a mix of players and loved being a member of a hard working team.
