Mohamed Abdel-Aziz who is 13 years old reached the semi-finals of a Tennis Europe event last week.
The 14&U Tennis Europe event took place in Wrexham and is a great start to the winter season for him after a few weeks of intense tennis and fitness training. Mohamed currently lives in Yarm and trains with his coach, Chris Sanderson, the head coach and manager of the HPC in Newcastle. Mohamed said; "That gave me a good confidence boost, I had a great week."

Mohamed has enjoyed success both domestically and internationally, is currently ranked top in the county for his age group. He started playing tennis at the age of 5 with his sibblings who are also top tennis players for their respective age groups. Mohamed's goal is to get stronger and compete more in British Tour and Tennis Europe 16&U events, and hopefully he can compete in his first ever ITF event.
