Harry Cookson had an over 3-hour match but lost 6-4 6-7 6-1.
In the doubles, we had a change of partnership and put Theo Garton and Cameron together, which worked well and had the first win of the day beating Aaron Purba and Marcus Macaulay 4-6 6-1 10-4. The overall match score was another 5-1.
DAY 3:
The final day was against Shropshire. Oliver lost 6-1 7-6 and just made to many errors. Cameron won 6-3 4-6 6-1; he played a good first set, lost his way in the second set but changed his tactics for the 3rd set which gave him the win.
Joel had a comfortable 6-3 6-3 win and Harry lost to the number 15 in the country Roan Jones 6-0 6-2, which made the match score 2-2 after the singles.
Theo and Cameron had another good win and Joel and Harry won in a 3rd set tie break, which gave us the 4-2 win over Shropshire and left us 3rd in the group.
The boys all played and tried hard all weekend and a lot of the matches could have gone either way, but I am very happy with their performance.
