The Winter Regional Tour Finals bring together the most successful players, according to leaderboard positions, of the Winter Regional Tour, to determine the Champion in each age group at the end of the season. Players will have accumulated leaderboard points from each Winter Regional Tour event (grade3) which will feed in to a leaderboard for each age group.
This year the finals were held at Gosling, Bolton and Loughborough. Players travelled from all over the country to play at their relevant venue despite the snow. The finals took place over the 23rd and 24th March and would be the last event in the season for many of the competitors, which meant there was a lot to play for. The event saw high class and competitive matches.
Circuit director Hollie Gosden commented: “The level of play was fantastic and was good to see players that had been competing in their regions come together to fight to be crowned Champion of the Winter Regional Tour Finals.”
