We are sorry to have to inform you that Brian sadly passed away last weekend after a long illness.
Brian will be remembered by many as one of the leading players in the County during the 1950’s-1970’s. He represented the County in the Winter Singles Championships for many successive years and was a formidable opponent at a very high level.
Brian played with many Council members, past and present, over the years.
Brian leaves two children, including Liz Jones who has been such a prominent player up to National Level herself.
Brian’s funeral will be held on Friday 17th August at 12.30 pm at Southampton’s East Crematorium.
