After just over a year of opening their door Wickham Community Tennis Club have achieved Tennis Clubmark. They are the 35th place to play within Hampshire and Isle of Wight to achieve Tennis Clubmark. The two court club has over 200 members and an extensive coaching programme which includes cardio tennis, beginner adults, tots, juniors and parent and child tennis training. By completing Tennis Clubmark the club have demonstrated that they have the correct policies and procedures in place, communicate well with members, offer an inclusive coaching programme and plan well for the future.
Zoe Bambridge, Tennis Development Manager said. “This achievement is very well deserved the volunteers, members and coaching team have all worked together to provide a great atmosphere and club environment. I am looking forward to seeing their development over the next few years in getting more people playing, more often.”
