Hampshire’s Esther Adeshina made history and achieved a very rare feat of winning the singles and doubles events at three consecutive ITF Junior events.
Over a four week period Esther won the singles events at the ITF 18U Junior Dornbirn Austria between 24th -31st October, then she went to the Protaras Junior Tournament 2016, Ayia Napa, Cyprus (8th – 12th Nov) before coming back home to Liverpool in the UK winning the just concluded Nike Junior International ITF event between 21st – 25th Nov 2016.
Esther teamed up with her fellow West Hants player Erin Richardson, to win the Girls’ Doubles events at all three tournaments. Following from her great run Esther has now broken into the world’s top 250 ITF Junior Players.
Great way to end 2016, which has been an amazing year for 15yr old Esther, her year’s highlights include winning the Hampshire & IOWs Junior Sportswoman of the Year, playing in Wimbledon, winning the 18U Girls Invitational Winter National Tour Finals, the Nottingham Open British Tour and various other titles, in addition to playing for the County, her Club and her School.
