College Tennis.
Hertfordshire have been lucky to have had many players benefitting from the US College Scholarship system over many years. This opportunity allows players to maximise their playing potential while carrying on their education.
As parents of aspiring players analysing which route your offspring should take is a very difficult one. There are examples of success in the game from both the University route {USA and British} and the full time player option. At present the following Herts players are studying in America and on Tennis scholarships: Holly Bagshaw, David and Matthew Thomson, George Coupland, Ed Corrie, Peter Billingham and Chris Herbert.
