After many tennis clubs, centres and schools throughout the county completed their own 'Road to Wimbledon' events during May and June, the various winners came together over the weekend of 11th & 12th July at Queenswood Tennis Centre in Brookmans Park for the county finals.
The two days of tennis saw some excellent matches and eventually the 2 winners, both from Welwyn LTC, were Lewis Andrews and Carly Williams who will now compete in the National Finals at the AELTC Wimbledon during week commencing 17th August. Congratulations and good luck to both of you and we hope that you enjoy playing on the grass courts at Wimbledon!
