Over the Saturday and Sunday of the May Day Bank Holiday, our young county players fought not only against their opposition, but the unpleasant weather, to retain The Lionel Cox Trophy at Queenswood.
This is an annual event for the various counties that make up the East Region and involves players at 10&U, 11&U and 12&U age groups. We came out on top in the boys and girls 11&U and 12&U events, with our boys 10&U team coming 2nd and the girls finishing 4th. After all of the points had been added up Herts were crowned champions again!
Congratulations to all of the players and also to the various team captains for the hard work over the two days.
