Both the girls and boys events were blessed with dry weather for this year's Herts 15&U Knockout Cup. The two events were held at Queenswood Tennis Centre on 4th and 11th October.
The girls event was closey contested, with Queenswood School eventually getting the better of Berkhamsted LTC in the final. The boys event, with 14 teams competing, was played in very good spirit and there was some excellent tennis for the spectators to watch throughout the day. With a high standard of players competing for their clubs, the final saw Langley Tennis Club, from Hemel Hempstead beat Gosling HPC from Welwyn Garden City 2-0.
This annual event has been running for many years and the challenge trophies will be awarded later in the year at a presentation evening for our county juniors.
