An Important Change to Coach Licensing December 2011

As of 1st of December 2011 there will no longer be a 6 month lock out period. If a Licensed Coach does not renew their Coach Licence within a two month period (grace period) after the date of expiry of their previous Coach Licence, it will be considered that they have left the Coach Licensing Scheme completely and are no longer a Licensed Coach

Coach Qualification Structure

The new LTA Coach Qualification structure gives coaches a clear and transparent career pathway from the Level 1 Coaching Assistant level all the way up to the Master level in either the Club or Performance environment. Registration and Coach Licensing

LTA Accreditation provides a simple check on safety and professional standards. There are two types of LTA Accreditation available to coaches and coaching assistants. These are: Registration and Licensing. Apply today via the coaches secure area of the website.

Play Tests

To be able to access certain coach qualifications a basic playing standard is required. The Play Test allows people to be assessed against the relevant entry playing criteria for a specific qualification. Visit the coaches secure area of the website or contact your local county office for a Play Test near you.
