Meet your Lancashire Team

There is a dedicated team responsible for the development of tennis across Lancashire. Here you can find out more about these people and their current roles within Tennis Lancashire.

Lisa Cartwright – County President

Lisa Cartwright, Tennis Lancashire President for 2019, is the busy club coach at Hawkshaw Tennis Club, where she has done good work for many years. As a player Lisa has a distinguished record in the Lancashire County Championships, having won the Ladies Singles 10 times, Ladies Doubles seven times and Mixed Doubles four times.

Mike McBrien - Chairman
Mike became Chairman of Lancashire Tennis in 2009 having previously been Secretary and President. Mike has represented Lancashire and is a qualified Coach, Referee and an LTA Councillor.

Les Atkinson - Secretary
Les became Secretary of Lancashire Tennis in 2009 having been involved in the County for many years. Les is a former Teacher and Tennis Development Officer and has a wealth of tennis coaching and competition experience.

Peter Horrocks -Treasurer
Peter is a qualified chartered accountant and has enjoyed his role as Treasurer since the turn of the millenium. Peter has been involved in tennis in Lancashire all his life and has a passion for the sport.

Sarah Hillier - County Administrator

Sarah has worked in Lancashire in various roles since 2012 and is now the County Administrator for Tennis Lancashire. Sarah is an experienced coach and competition organiser and will be supporting all of the County's tennis activities.
