Loughborough tennis player Chris Egan-Morriss is confident he will bounce back after fatigue hampered his challenge in the first round of the 14-and-under boys' competition at the AEGON British Junior National Championships.

Helen Thorpe (Melton) and Tom Kisiel (Rothley) both retained their Leicestershire senior singles titles.

The Leicestershire Men’s 60+ Veterans Tennis Team have had an outstanding season, winning promotion in the Inter-County Championships, in the process losing only 2 rubbers.

The Tennis Leicestershire Match Secretaries Meeting will take place on Tuesday 24 August at Oadby Granville Tennis Club and will start at 6pm.

Cash 4 Clubs is a sports grants scheme which gives clubs a chance to win grants ranging from £250 to £1000, whether it be to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, or generally invest in the sustainability of their club.
