The 2011 summer leaderboards have been finalised and the 2011 winter leaderboards are now live on the LTA website.
Leaderboards allow players who are competing on the Winter Tours to track their progress, just as the top players do on the ATP/WTA Tours.
There are multiple leaderboards now in operation across the three tour levels – Winter National (Grade 2), Regional (Grade 3) and County (Grade 4 & 5) Tours.
There is one Leaderboard for players who have competed on the National Tour. Players who have played in the Regional Tour will find themselves on one of a possible seven leaderboards in the South East, East, South West, Midlands, North, Scotland and Wales, depending on where they are from.
Most importantly each county has its own County Tour Leaderboard from 9U to 18U as the players battle it out in the Grade 4 and Grade 5 events.
In Leicestershire the players who topped of the Summer County Tour leaderboards at 9U level were Owen Wilson and Abigail Wilkin.
In the 10U Leaderboard Adam Jalland finished top of the boys and Lilia Boukikova topped the girls.
In the yellow ball age groups the following players finished first in the boys 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U leaderboards in Leicestershire. Rahul Dhokia, Niraj Mavani, Liam Brearley and Kieran Groom headed up their respective age groups.
In the yellow ball age groups the following players topped the Girls leaderboards at 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U level. They were Charlotte Clarke, Ana Webber, Amelia Coltman and Jennifer Gadsby.
The winter 2011 season has now begun and the Leaderboards will be live from Friday 23rd September for the National, Regional and County Tours.
