My Tennis International High Performance Centre at Loughborough University were celebrating recently after being awarded the Lawn Tennis Association's Clubmark status.
My Tennis have become the twenty second club in Leicestershire to achieve Clubmark. My Tennis had to meet a range of criteria covering coaching programme, policies and procedures, planning and club management.
Paul Sheard, LTA Tennis Development Manager for Derbyshire and Leicestershire commented:
“I would like to congratulate My Tennis on achieving clubmark accreditation. Paula Horobin has done a great job pulling together all the evidence required to meet the tennis clubmark criteria and show that they are meeting the quality benchmark set out by Sport England".
"My Tennis are one of the leading tennis operators not only in the region but nationally, and clubmark accreditation is testament to the exceptional quality of their programmes and management and further demonstrates their commitment to provide the best possible opportunities for players to fulfil their potential”.
A Clubmark plaque was presented to Mark Winship, Head of Tennis; Phil Newbury, Head of Coaching; and Paula Horobin, Operations Manager by LTA Tennis Development Manager Paul Sheard.
