The Leicestershire U14 Team put in some impressive performances in the 12 Counties competition at Corby to take first place for the county in their division.
The boys came top winning all there matches. They beat Notts 3-1, Norfolk 4-0 and Hereford & Worcester 4-0.
The girls found it harder coming fourth in a very strong competition. They lost to Notts 3-1, 4-0 to Norfolk and 3-1 to Hereford & Worcester.
U14 Results
This division had been a close battle since the first weekend, and the lead changed hands throughout the winter. However, despite being a point behind going into the final day of the season, Leicestershire deserve to be heading back up to Division 1, after picking up 2 extra points to Nottinghamshire to win Division 2A by just 1 point.
