Leicestershire coaching providers Inside Out Tennis and their partner clubs, such as Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club, are delighted to be getting recognition – and this one is a huge as it is at national level!
Both Martyn Whait and Tim Jamieson (pictured on the left approximately 15 years ago) have been shortlisted at the LTA's prestigious Aegon National Tennis Coaching Awards: Martyn for Disability Coach of the Year and Tim for Apprentice Coach of the Year. The winners of each category will go forward to the overall Coach of the Year category with a chance of winning this very coveted award. Having two coaches from the same club and coaching group shortlisted at the same is unusual in itself, but what makes their achievement even more so is that Tim was actually coached by Martyn throughout his junior career!
The awards evening takes place at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, London on 10th May 2014, and we wish both Martyn and Tim the best of luck!
