Full Time Tennis Coach Required for GSM Leisure At Rothley Tennis Club, Charnwood Tennis Club & Queniborough Tennis Clubs in Leicestershire]
Job description:
GSM Leisure are looking to appoint a self employed full time coach to work with the existing Head Coach in continuing to develop and expand the current coaching programme operating at Rothley Ivanhoe Tennis Club, Charnwood Tennis Club and Queniborough Tennis Club, Leicestershire. This role will involve group coaching for juniors and adults of a mixed ability along with the scope to create lots of individual lessons (16+ individual lessons a week currently arranged that need to be taken on by a new coach). The role will also focus on creating better schools links. Queniborough Tennis Club is a small four court club. The appointed coach will help with every day running of the club, schools, coaching programme on the weekends as well as trying to build the clubs membership.

GSM Leisure is one of the biggest coaching teams in the East Midlands. We operate in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. In the last 8 years, GSM Leisure it has grown in size with more staff and more clubs. We have 3 partners, 4 full time coaches and a number of part time coaches who are working on behalf of GSM. We run the coaching at 8 tennis clubs and 7 Leisure Centres.

Rothley Ivanhoe Tennis Club Overview:
Rothley Tennis Club is one of the leading clubs in Leicestershire with 160 adult and 130 junior members. The club has recently undergone a large facility upgrade to now boast 2 brand new resurfaced courts with new floodlights, new parking and landscaping. 5 of the 6 courts now are floodlit.
Rothley has LTA Accreditation and boasts over 20 senior teams and 10 junior teams offering a variety of competitive opportunities for its members.
The club also has a large clubhouse with shower, kitchen and changing areas.
Coaching links in with the local Leisure Centre so in winter time mini red sessions are run indoors.

Charnwood Tennis Club Overview:
Charnwood is one of the largest tennis clubs in Leicestershire with 8 courts, 4 hard and 4 all weather (floodlit) and is currently going through planning to get 3 of the hardcourts floodlit. It has 150 adult and 150 junior members and has over 10 adult teams and 11 junior teams playing throughout the year. The club has a large clubhouse with changing facilities, showers and kitchen. It is close to Loughborough town centre and has great links with the local leisure centre where many of its mini red sessions are run.
Queniborough Tennis Club Overview:
Queniborough Tennis Club is one of GSM Leisure’s tournament sites with tournaments being run nearly every Saturday at the club. The club has 4 hard courts and new modernized clubhouse. The club is set on a sports site with rugby, cricket, football and archery.
Applicants should be qualified to a minimum of Club Coach Award (Level 3), however we will also consider ambitious Level 2 coaches who are looking at taking their Level 3 soon. You also require an LTA license as well as a full clean driving license.
