The boys from Carre’s Grammar School in Sleaford won the event with victories against Skegness Grammar, Branston Community College and Queen Elizabeths, Gainsborough. The winning team from Carre’s Grammar school was Oliver Harrod, Elliot Bero, Connor Mackay, Alex O’Dell.

The girls event was exceptionally close with two of the fixtures needing a count-back of games to separate teams level on 3 matches each. Kesteven and Sleaford girls missed out by one game on both occasions losing 19 – 18 to Queen Elizabeth’s, Gainsborough and 20-19 to Bourne Grammar School.

In the end it was the Bourne Grammar School team of Sophie Patman, Ashleigh Holmes, Sophie Morris and Lucy Morris that was victorious.

This event was for school teams across the county with a rating restriction of 10.1 to ensure a far as possible that the players involved were not County level players. It was therefore pleasing to see the quality of matches on show, all played with a great competitive spirit.
