A very successful Mini Red and Orange team competition was held at Wellington TC at the end of July as part of the West Somerset Junior League.
The Red event was first to take place in the morning with players competing in both singles and doubles with Trull emerging as narrow winners. The Orange competition was held later in the day with Trull once again emerging as winners.
The West Somerset League is organised by Somerset LTA council member John Barrington, who is also Chairman at Trull Tennis Club. If any clubs wish to get teams into these events then please e-mail John on jbtrull@hotmail.co.uk.

Phillipa Deem, of Wellington Tennis Club, thanked husband Reg for his help in setting up all the courts, Chairman Carl Puzey for doing prizes and certificates and assistants and helpers Elizabeth Deem, Charlie Lee, Rowan Hill James, Despina Socol and Shania Cheung.
