Frome Tennis Summer Camps now taking bookings
Frome Selwood Tennis Club is running tennis camps this summer holiday from July 20th to August 14th. The three hour morning sessions will run from 9-12 and are for 4 to 10 year olds. The afternoon sessions run from 1 – 4 and are for 11-16 year olds: all abilities are welcome – beginners and improvers. Attendance is by the day or by the week. The cost of a 3 hour session is £15 with a discount of 20% if a child attends for five days or more. If more than one child attends from the same family then a 10% discount is available too.
‘The idea of our summer camps is for young people attending to have fun learning and developing their tennis skills’ said Head Coach, Chris Matthews. ‘We are running these popular summer camps for more weeks this year so that everyone who wants to has a chance to attend.’ For more information email Chris at chrismatthews14@gmail.com. The Tennis Club will also be offering two opportunities for children and their parents to try tennis for free in July to coincide with The Children’s Festival on July 12th and the Love Parks Get Active day on July 25th. On these days children and parents can come and hit some balls at the Club or visit the mini grass court tennis which will be set up in the Mary Baily Playing Field.
