Congratulations to Louis Skupien who was selected for the England U18 team for the 2017 Four Nations' Junior Championships in Glasgow.
Louis, who trains at the University of Bath International High Performance Centre, played his part in helping England win the overall championships as well as securing the win in the 18U category. It was a convincing victory, England ended the tournament with 11 points, runners up were Scotland with 7 followed by Wales and Ireland on 6 points each. Despite being the youngest in his age group, Louis won some crucial matches including the vital singles match against Ireland on Sunday as well as the doubles later in the day.
Louis and his doubles partner Tad MacLean, also from the University of Bath International High Performance Centre, played extremely well winning two out of three of their doubles matches. Both boys had a wonderful time, enjoying the occasion and the team spirit which helped in securing the victory for England and their age category.
