On Saturday 12th December over 50 mini red players attended a Christmas Fun Day event with players attending from a range of clubs from all corners of the county for a morning full of festive fun and activities. The activities on offer ranged from match play to fitness drills to everybody’s favourite The Tennis Factory. With Christmas songs playing in the background and some of Warwickshire’s finest coaches lending a hand on the day a great time was had by all putting everyone firmly in the Christmas spirit!
As well as an action packed morning full of festive mini tennis fun there was a Christmas themed “Best Dressed Racket” competition judged by our very own Tennis Development Officer and Best Dressed Racket expert Anna Birkinshaw. The standard of entries was extremely high and after much deliberation the winner was chosen, congratulations to James from Beechwood who is now the proud owner of his very own Slazenger Racket bag.
