The clubs competing included, Solihull Arden, Kenilworth, Leamington, Sutton Coldfield, Streetly, Shipston, Blossomfield and Rugby.
Leamington, arriving a girl short on the day, with a team of Lawrence Dawkins, Daniel Smyj-James and Harriet Lee won all their group matches taking them through to the final. The other finalists where Sutton with their team of Sofia Khalayaeva, Jasmine Skip, Luke Williams and Angus Osborne. In the final Sutton won through by 7 points.
The final result for the other clubs was Rugby 3rd, Solihull Arden 4th, shipston 6th, Blossomfield 7th, Streetly 8th. Round two with the Green players takes place on Tuesday 9th.with all clubs working towards increasing their ranking.
Following the matches the players were able to watch the AEGON Classic women’s players compete on grass.
