Warwickshire coach Gareth Price has been nominated for Club Coach of the year in the annual 2010 Stratford-on-Avon District Sports Awards which takes place on Friday 22nd January 2010 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Stratford on Avon.

Gareth provides tennis sessions at Welcombe Hills. Raised the profile of the sport and standard of the pupils. He is great with the kids and has built a fantastic rapport and trust with pupils, parents and teachers. He now has a regular 20 pupils playing each week. He has also encouraged the school to commit to forging strong links with Alcester Tennis Club.
Last year, in partnership with ATC, Gareth ran a competition for Welcombe Hills and 8 other schools at Stratford Tennis Club. This was a great success and will now become an annual event. Gareth is an unassuming and respected young coach and his manner has helped many young people develop their skills. He never seeks recognition for his work and is committed and dedicated to helping young people.
