Youngsters from Coventry and Warwickshire enjoyed success in a tennis tournament at the University of Warwick.

Five local players achieved wins in their age groups in the event organised by inspire2coach that attracted over 100 competitors from as far as Yorkshire, Lancashire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

“The fact that the clubs sending the most entries – Beechwood, Esporta Warwickshire, Kenilworth, Leamington, and Rugby – are top of the Warwickshire competition listings is no surprise,” said organiser Richard Allen.

“We should celebrate the success in the sport of tennis in Coventry & South Warwickshire."
