Wimbledon Reward For Hard Working Young Volunteer

Henley in Arden Tennis Club are delighted to hear that Joshua Treacy one of the clubs young tennis leaders has won the opportunity to attend the first week of Wimbledon Championships.

Josh who is 17 years old, was short listed at the prestigious WLTA awards last January as a young tennis leader, for his amazing contribution to the sport , by donating more than 100 hours of voluntary service to the club.

The club were happy to put his name forward for one of the coveted places which the LTA has set up at the All England Championships.  During the first week he will helping to run the Play Tennis Zone (an area where people can play fun tennis games such as target practice) and meeting tennis stars who visit the area.

His accommodation will be provided at Roehampton University and hopefully he will be able to visit the National Tennis Centre which is also in Roehampton.
