Warwickshire’s county Men and Ladies celebrated joint success in the recent AEGON Winter County Cup events. Both the men’s and ladies teams were crowned division champions and gained promotion for next years AEGON Winter County Cup. What adds to the success is that both teams had arduous journeys to the venues with the ladies travelling east to Norfolk and the men travelling north to Hull.
The results from both the men and ladies teams were as follows:
Ladies:
Warwickshire 3-6 Cambridgeshire
Warwickshire 5-4 Buckinghamshire
Warwickshire 7-2 Cambridgeshire
Men’s:
Warwickshire 7-2 Berkshire
Derbyshire 0-9 Warwickshire
Warwickshire 5-1 Nottinghamshire
