Warwickshire LTA is delighted to announce the dates and venues for the March/April 2011 Club Forums:
Area 1 - Edgbaston Priory Club (B15 2UZ), Wednesday 6th April
Area 2 - Stratford Tennis Club (CV37 7LS), Wednesday 30th March
Area 3 - LMRCA Rugby (CV22 5AL), Thursday 31st March
Who is invited to attend?
Any volunteers working at your club who have are motivated and want to learn more. A minimum of one person to feedback to your committee but as we present so much information it is worth a number of volunteers attending, all who have different responsibilities.
What are the topics?
• This forum will address Adult Tennis at your club, a BTM membership profile will be available for every attending Club highlighting the different ages of your club members. We will look at successful or planned projects where clubs recruit and retain adult members and learn from all clubs attending.
• Communication is key to all Clubs we will provide you with an update on how we communicate with you. We hope by the first forum that all clubs will have updated their LTA self service websites so that Warwickshire is the first county to achieve this. We will update you on any support and ideas that your
club may access to assist your communication with existing and potential members.
• There are numerous funding opportunities out there, we will highlight these and whilst there is no guarantee many clubs have achieved successful bids.
• We will inform you of all the opportunities available to your club members in the next 6 months, some only available to clubs attending the forum.
• Warwickshire Club forums are a great opportunity to network with other club volunteers
• We distribute the County Magazine, On the Ball at all Club Forums so be sure to collect a supply for you Club.
