A Tennis Professional position within David Lloyd Leisure is a self employed role in which you will engage with the club Sports Manager and their Tennis management team to deliver the Tennis offering for our members. The terms of engagement and how both parties will work together to create a great tennis programme are defined within a Service Level Agreement between the self employed Tennis Professional and David Lloyd Leisure.
A self employed Tennis Professional will operate within the club and work alongside an employed team of other Tennis Professionals ensuring that the complex needs of our junior and adult tennis members are met. We are keen to engage the services and skills of self employed Tennis Professionals that have particular experience of working within the LTA’s Competition Framework, and have a particularly good understanding of delivering quality development programmes for children aged 3 to 15 years of age. We also require the talents of self employed Tennis Professionals who can deliver the demanding requirements of an Adult programme catering for Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced Players.
A self employed Tennis Professional will have the opportunity to work with junior and adult members not only on our market leading club programs but on a one to one basis.
We are always keen to develop and improve the programs that we deliver to our members and we need to work with the best Tennis Professionals available to continue to evolve and develop our offering. As part of our Service Level Agreement there is a unique opportunity to continue to improve your skills as a self employed Tennis Professional within the David Lloyd Leisure Coach Qualification Pathway that is supported by the LTA. This is done through the Annual Admin Fee structure, which is paid by all self employed Tennis Professionals to cover training courses and equipment.
