The South Warwickshire & District Area Summer League announced their new sponsor for 2011 as Widney Sports Limited, from Bentley Heath, Solihull.

The Company Director, Martin Ward has agreed in principle a minimum three year term and is happy to associate his thriving business with this successful league covering such an extensive area including clubs in Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. In total there are 44 Men's senior teams split into six divisions and 24 Junior sides split into six pools. Apart from the divisional competitions the league also organises an annual Inter-Divisional Charity Cup Final between the Champions of both the Summer and Winter Leagues, a Junior Cup Final and a Annual Pairs Tournament at Stratford-on-Avon Tennis Club together with the season's Presentations Event.
The season opens in the second half of April and will now be known as the
Widney Sports Tennis League
