Moseley Tennis Club, Moseley, Birmingham are looking for a part-time coach to join their successful coaching team.
Moseley Tennis Club has 4 floodlit artificial clay courts and 4 tarmacadam hard courts. There are currently 130 children on the junior coaching programme and 34 sessions per week Monday – Saturday. All courses are delivered at a maximum ratio of 1:6 with many groups having a ratio of 1:4. Moseley Tennis Club has a vibrant junior section with many of its players competing both at county and regional level. A number of these are ranked within the top ten county rankings with many others ranked within the top 25 county rankings.
We are looking for a qualified coach ( LTA, RPT or PTR) working towards further qualifications. The successful coach will either be licensed or registered with the LTA or be at the very least eligible to be registered with the LTA (qualification +CRB + First Aid). This position will be on a self employed basis and the successful candidate will have experience working with children aged 6-14 years old. A good playing standard with solid stroke knowledge and demonstration is also important. Candidates must be a minimum of 17yrs old.
