The "Fair Play Plate" was awarded for the first time last year replacing the Pairs competition trophy. It is voted on by all the teams from all six divisions. It is decided by votes from the league teams on which side in their opinion they felt was the most convivial both on the court and for their after match hospitality. It had nothing to do with their playing ability, just their friendliness, conduct and entertaining abilities and crosses all divisions.
Of the 43 teams circulated 27 votes were received back. There were 17 teams nominated from all divisions but only HDA B from Division Four and Littleton B from Division Three received received more than two votes. However, the winner and the only team to receive four votes were HDA B of Redditch. So HDA B is the recipient of the Fair Play Award for 2013.
