Virgin Active is delighted to announce that Claire Taylor has joined their team at the Warwickshire Club ,leading the U10 Performance Programme. Claire has a history with the centre going back to her own Junior playing days when she accessed Coventry Racket Centre as it was known then as her nearest indoor facility for an Oxfordshire County training session, right through to recently having Virgin Active Warwickshire as one of the key centres she worked with for the LTA. 'We are very excited about the skill set and experience Claire will bring to club. The timing of Claire's appointment with our recent facility investment further strengthening our offering as a performance centre' Brad Rowbottom (Racquets Manager).
Claire has been coaching now for well over ten years and prior to taking this role was already working within Warwickshire for the LTA Talent Team so knows the standards and what it takes to create a top Performance programme in the County. She will draw on this knowledge and also use the experience she has from being a Professional Tennis Player. She is in the enviable position of being able to relate to all players she works with as she has done all they are going through and understands the commitment and dedication being involved in tennis requires. She will not only be a great asset to Virgin Active but also Warwickshire tennis.
