Warwickshire LTA would like to invite female players from your venue to participate in a recreational, tennis event which will take place at The Edgbaston Priory. The event is FREE for players to attend as it will be funded through the Marjorie Dove Project, which Warwickshire LTA has developed to attract and retain women and girls in the sport.
The event will run using a recreational competition format, alongside a series of on court activities. The event is aimed at girls who would like to compete more but would struggle for the opportunity due to their rating. The event is aimed at girls aged 14-18 who are club level players (ie don’t compete in external tournaments).
This is a doubles event so please ensure you send pairs to compete and all players must be registered by emailing marjoriedovewlta@gmail.com. Please note if you aren’t able to send a pair but have a player keen to patriciate then we would encourage them to contact us still.
