If you are aged 13–16, play tennis and like helping others then this course is for you.
It’s relevant to all standards of players and includes those with a disability. Being a Tennis Leader will give you an opportunity to play an important role in club and school tennis activities. It will give you an opportunity to develop your tennis skills and gain further recognition for your achievements. It can be a stepping stone to becoming a coach, official or volunteer. In addition, it will be fun, rewarding, social and a chance to help others:
WILTSHIRE LTA TENNIS LEADERS COURSE – 5TH & 19TH OCTOBER
Module 1: Planning, Organising and Communication
Tuesday 5th October 2010 6-9pm at Delta TC, Swindon (Indoors)
Module 4: Competition Assistant plus 6 hours volunteering
Tuesday 19th October 2010 6-8pm at Delta TC, Swindon (Indoors)
The course costs £50 and will be run on the indoor courts at the Delta TC. You must attend both modules and complete the 6 hours practical experience to gain your Tennis Leaders Certificate and enable you to qualify as a Tennis Leader. However, If you have already attended Module 1 (Planning, organising and communication) on a previous course and wish to attend Module 4 only please indicate this on the application form and send a cheque for £25.
