After claiming her first international wheelchair tennis title of 2014 last month in Arizona, USA, Wanbrough’s Louise Hunt is targeting back-to-back titles at the Israel Open in mid-May, boosted by a recent training camp at La Manga, Spain, funded by the Tennis Foundation and UK Sport through National Lottery support for player and coach development on the road to Rio 2016.

Wanborough’s Louise Hunt has finalised her preparations for representing Great Britain in the upcoming BNP Paribas World Team Cup by winning her second international doubles title of the season in Israel.

Jonathan Overend, Radio 5 Live Sports Presenter, paid a visit to Ramsbury Tennis Clubs Open Day last Sunday. It was all part of the LTA’s Great British Tennis Weekend when Clubs opened there doors to encourage more people to take up the sport.

Ramsbury Tennis Club recently held the Level 2 Primary Schools Year 3/4 Tennis Competition. 14 Teams representing 7 Schools from the Marlborough Area battled it out to see who would progress to the County Level 3 Finals.

Weather fine but windy and 19 pairs entered the Pewsey Mixed Open Tournament.
