Three junior tennis players from Stocksbridge Tennis Club reached finals in the recent Sheffield and District Tennis Tournament.
The week long event, which has been running since 1920, took place at Beauchief Tennis club in Sheffield and had almost 100 junior players from the Sheffield and District area.
Luke Naylor aged 14 from Stocksbridge reached the final of both the under 14's and under 16's events. In the under 14's final Luke beat Will Scott from Wheatley Hills Tennis Club 6-2, 6-4.
In the under 16's final Luke came up against fellow Stocksbridge player Matthew Taylor aged 15 from Penistone. In a close fought final Matthew was the eventual winner 6-4, 6-4.
Karl Green aged 17 from Sheffield reached the final of the under 18's event, narrowly losing 6-4, 6-4, but went on to win in the mixed doubles.
