During the October half term, Angus Bradshaw of Yorkshire won in the Grade 2 event at Gosling, Hertfordshire. It was in this same event that Olivia Noble, also of Yorkshire, was runner up in the girls’ event.
Angus made his way through the qualifying rounds, playing 7 matches in 4 days. This has helped in moving his ranking from 72nd all the way to 14th. Due to winning this event, Angus will now look forwards to playing in a Grade 1 event at Roehampton in February. This will be the first ever Grade 1 event that he will play in.
We wish Angus all the luck for his future events.
