Wheelchair Tennis Ticket 2 Tokyo Event on Sunday 21st September.
Here at Headingley Campus we are running the Tennis Foundation Ticket 2 Tokyo session – a great opportunity to have a go at wheelchair tennis, and potentially get talent ID for the sport, but more importantly to find out what’s going on in Leeds on a weekly and monthly basis.
The Day will be organised by myself, with 4 coaches and 1 or our GB Wheelchair Tennis Players who currently trains at the Uni. (Ed Holt).
• 9.30 – 10am – Registration
• 10am – 10.30am – physical warm up / chair skills
• 10.30 – 11am – Ball skills / co-ordination
• 11am – 12noon – 4 courts – switch on time – dependant on nos. Stroke work.
• 12noon – 1pm – Games related to stroke work on 4 courts
Session to finish at 1pm, but players to be given option to stay and play matches 1.30pm – 3pm – this will be organised on the day – singles / dubs / chair & coach etc.
