Everyone played their part to make this an emphatic victory.
Match 3 v Norfolk
Team -W Scalinger, R Parker, S Chilvers, S Copestake
Result: lost 5-0
Everyone fought hard but the opposition proved to be too strong.
Match 4 v Hampshire
Team - W Scalinger, R Parker, S Chilvers, S Copestake
Result: lost 4-1
Again we were facing a very strong team. Sheila and Sue performed brilliantly to win a doubles match.
Match 5 v Dorset
Team- W Scalinger, R Parker, S Chilvers, S Copestake
Result: lost 3-2
Big decider for staying in division 1.
A highly competitive, very close match in which Notts missed out literally by a couple of points, losing one of the doubles in a very tight third set tie break. Wendy fought gallantly narrowly losing to Dorset’s no 1 while Renee pulled out a great singles victory beating Dorset’s no 2. Wendy and Renee then joined forces to win their doubles.
