Annabel Bird, from Farnsfield Tennis club, won the Road to Wimbledon County Finals to progress to the National Finals which were played on the grass courts at Wimbledon!
Annabel arrived on Sunday morning at Aorangi Park and was given accreditation and the week began!
Annabel played in a Round Robin against some tough players and managed two great wins and one loss to qualify for Main Draw .
Annabel won her next match and managed to get to the last 16. She then lost by a close 7-6 7-5 .
The players were treated to Wimbledon hospitality which was absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations.
It was an amazing week and something she will always remember.
